ELP - Oh, My Father
Originally recorded during theĀ TarkusĀ sessions, but not released until the 2012 remaster. A deeply personal and emotional piece about the death of Greg’s father. Absolutely take some time to listen to this.
And another, this time from 1992 for Canada’s MuchMusic. The fashion speaks for itself really.
An ELP interview from Rio in 1997 featuring chest rugs, inappropriate shorts, Greg’s earring being incredibly distracting and discussion of ideas that never happened (you may weep softly at that last bit).
Also: in 1982, Jon tried to form a trio with the Wake Man and Keith Emerson. Because the music gods hate us, this never happened.
Happy birthday, Keith. :)
